Antiseptic balm is a soothing balm to help with the relief of many different skin aliments including inflamed skin, minor cuts and grazes, rashes, insect bites and sore rough skin and many more uses.
Antiseptic Balm is a blend of herbal infusions: Amala Oil, Gotu Kola oil Chamomile oil. Comfrey Oil, Arnica and Calendula. All herbs have been individually infused in organic, extra-virgin olive oil. Each is rich with its own therapeutic properties. When they’re combined, they create a blend to give you great healing benefits in a jar.
Each of the herbs have been chosen for their benefits as stated below.
Minor cuts and wounds – The antiseptic and antimicrobial action of this herbal oil help speed up healing of wounds and minor cuts, and also help relieve insect bites, acne and bed sores.
Inflammatory Skin issues – Psoriasis, dermatitis and other skin problems can be soothed using Calendula Oil.
Gotu kola is also known to repair veins on your skin. That’s because it can penetrate into the deep layers, and show its benefits. It is so effective that it is widely used as a treatment for varicose veins, and helps to break down cellulite by shrinking connective tissues that bind fat cells under the skin
Calming and comforting, infused chamomile oil is a wonderfully soothing emollient helpful in treating dry, red and irritated skin. Strongly associated with anti-inflammatory properties, chamomile has been used for centuries to reduce inflammation and redness, calm sensitive skin, and heal wounds.
The fatty acids present in the amla oil treats acne, nourishes and soothes the skin tissues, too. It even lubricates the joints and reduces the pain. Amla is beneficial for muscle aches, and respiratory tract. It is also used to prevent skin infections such as eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea.
Comfrey contain allantoin, a substance that helps new skin cells grow, along with other substances that reduce inflammation and keep skin healthy. Comfrey has been used to heal bruises as well as pulled muscles and ligaments, fractures, sprains, strains, and osteoarthritis.
Calendula oil has antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties make it useful in healing wounds, soothing eczema, and relieving rash.
Calendula Oil is a great moisturiser for dry skin and for severely chapped or split skin, it helps soothe the area and reduce the pain.
It works well on sprained muscles or bruises; its anti-inflammatory action helps lessen swelling from injury.
Arnica may assist in calming and soothing swollen or bruised skin.
It reputedly increases circulation by stimulating white blood cell activity, thereby decreasing the amount of healing time and reducing inflammation.
Arnica will also help break up scar tissue and soften the appearance of scars, old and new.
Arnica Oil can help to reduce pain and disease-causing inflammation when applied to skin.
Handy for all kinds of bruises, aches and sprains. Arnica helps to relieve areas of stiffness resulting from flying or long-distance driving. Topical arnica oil application may clear sebum oil and other debris on your scalp that can block hair follicles. It may also reduce inflammation that causes itching and irritation and leads to hair loss.
